Elven Council

The Elven Council is part of the ruling body of the Elven nation of Faerinwold. Led by the Shaiiahan, the Council is generally made up of 60 to 120 representatives of various walks of life and regions. Representatives include musicians, priests, philosophers, soldiers, merchants, hunters, and more. Different elven communities and organizations put forth various representatives to speak for them in council. The Council size fluctuates, as representatives come and go. How this organization manages without significant bloodshed is considered a testament to the legendary equanimity of the elves for one another. They meet for one week intervals, seven times a year, at the Great Hall of the Sky and Wood, a magnificent palace that was created from marble, steel, and living trees deep in the heart of the forest of Neldorin. No matter how wild the Feywild has become, the elven delegates are rarely bothered while on their way to or from the Great Hall. It may be that the Fey have respect for this system of government, which bears some resemblance to their own Court of Stars.
