Jahazabaara the Brass

Jahazabaara the Brass is an ancient Brass Dragon who dwells in the southern reaches of the Desolation of Azmartheon. She has lived there since before The Rending, as she was born about 1,400 years ago. She rules “her domain” as she thinks of it, as a benevolent noble, keeping it free of blue dragons and Far Realm creatures.

Much of her horde has been taken from other dragons, “liberated” from raiders in the Desolation, or payments from those she has aided and protected. No one knows where her horde is, but it is not within her lair – a ruined Dragonborn observatory in the Cloudraker Mountains.

Like many powerful brass dragons, her presence has caused fundamental elements of the terrain around her lair to be subtly changed. Tracks in the sand lead to hidden springs and safe places to camp, while leading away from her lair. Illusory monsters wander in the distance, and she knows when anyone drinks water near her lair.

She is haughty, gregarious, and always interested in those who dare the Desolation.
