Malachite

Malachite is a young (but growing quickly) Cu Sidhe belonging to Tristan Holdfast. He encountered the pup in Idyllrise with a hood over its head. When he removed it, the puppy imprinted itself on him, and he became its beloved Master. The hound-trainers who had owned the pup were furious over this, and they demanded money for the ruined pup. Tristan was able to persuasively bargain them down to a more reasonable price and took the pup with him. His affection towards Tristan turned out to be a symbol of Tristan's hidden royal blood, as revealed by Arcalos Goldbeard. The young animal is now staying with Princess Shairi Thonwyr in Estwald while Tristan seeks to defeat the Tarrasque with his companions.
