Mount Blackplume is a volcano on the southwestern tip of
Sudwaine. It can be seen from one end of the island city, and it often spews forth black ash and smoke, from which it takes its name. The volcano was dormant until about 831 SKR when it erupted, burying nearby
Castle Valkurath partially under lava and rock.
