Rogue
In every culture, there are people who live outside of society’s norms. Some people find a way to make a living by plying skills of deception, cunning, agility, and thievery. When those individuals turn their hands to the adventurer’s trade, they’re called Rogues.
Rogues are not all necessarily thieves, but many rogues have been on the wrong side of the law at least once in their lives. Their adventuring careers sometimes begin out of necessity, perhaps as part of a lord’s judgement, to earn money quick to pay off a debt, or to get out of town quickly. Some rogues rely on speed and agility, while others back up their cunning with brute force.
All cultures have Rogues among them. Even among warrior cultures like the Hastane and Aeotaens, trickster figures appear in legends and are revered to some degree.
