Sally Seaworth

Sally Seaworth was born Sally Sudborne, a Kalrentai orphan given to a small church of Danuvia in the town of Talmathi. She was never adopted, but she grew up hard and self-reliant. When she came of majority, she apprenticed to a tavernkeeper, ultimately saving towards opening her own place. But things changed when she met an Elf sailor named Dathanios Seaworth. There was real love between the two, and she ultimately followed him to his home in Valafar. With money he invested and her own savings, she opened a tavern of her own. It became known to the sailors who visited it as the Goodtimes House.
The two never wed, but Sally took his name, and they had a child, Thomas. When Tommy was eight, Dathanios who was often away, didn't return from his latest voyage. Sally never knew what happened to him, but raised her son as best she could alone. Now, with Tommy grown, she's created a family of "cousins" from local orphans who she gives work to and continues to run the tavern.
