Thurinvald (THOO-rin-vald)

Thurinvald is a large island off of the northern coast of Velnar in the southern parts of the Sea of Ice Tombs. Although there's no single government ruling the island, it is home to many clans and villages of Burendain and Ulven. The terrain is ancient and primeval, with towering trees, dense foliage, thick moss, and oozing streams. Ancient animals like axe-beaks roam the forest, making both predator and prey to those who dwell there.
