Human
Sons of the ancient rockling dwarves, humans were molded out of rock and mud under the sun of Toran. In time, their machinations of the upper world lead them to conflict with their father race, the dwarves. The two races have since quarreled and convened on various fronts, but while the dwarves prefer the passing down of tradition and bloodline, humanity desires the need for change, progression and renewal.
The curiousity of humans spearheaded scientific and agricultural progression in Toran. Settling across the lands, they kindled the first fire under the full moon and tilled the soil to foster the first grain. In the area that would become Elarus, humans cultivated primitive faiths that set forth foundational morals and laws to unify their tribal groups under the banner of progress and discovery.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Humans are distant ancestors of the first rock dwarves, and as these two races predominantly held sway in the early years of Toran, they share a long, contrasted history of feud and cooperation. Today their disparities are less and relations friendly, but lingering resentment from ages and events long past persists in the shadows.
