Palanom
Eon's White City
Palanom settles its primary, walled off cityscape from a collection of small villages, stables, and inns just under the three-digit kilometer mark from the Silva Woods. In this sense it is a sort of refuge, a place of belief. The Eon Holy Church holds significant power in the countryside, as it is their public headquarters and sacred origin that dates back eons (hence their name; not funny).
Eonism is a great part of the culture there, and locals not going to church sessions on the Day of the Sun can be seen as disrespectful and offensively insensitive. The people are friendly to outsiders, and the markets flourish with wares from south and east. The Red Rise Mountains were once the den of orcs and foul beings of the night, since snuffed out by ordersmen and the Zero Sacrament, its pits and peaks passively progress through time, waiting.
Demographics
Mixed races, from wealthy to poor, with a decisive majority being followers of the Eon Holy Church.
Government
Palanom is controlled by a ruler board of Church ministers, with the chief pontiff at its head.
