During the war between giants and titans provocked by
Trolerike, the giants' gods intervened.
Stronmaus, the god of
Storm giants, sought to aid his followers. He forged a hammer to empower his followers in battle against the Titans and launched it ont the material plane for the giants to claim.
The impact of the falling hammer created a massive crater known as the Hammerfall Crater. When the giants were banished to an isolated island, the storm giants decided to construct a citadel atop the crater, naming it the Hammerfall Citadel.
Description
Hammer's room
The Jotun hammer, believing himself to be a giant, has a room of its own in which he can live, it is in this room that candidate for the leadership come to seek the hammer's approval.
Prison
In the citadel basement is a large room serving as a prison for medium-sized creatures. Chains hang from the ceiling, suspending spherical iron-bar cages, some of which contain skeletons.
The cells have loops below and on top of the cell linking them to large chains. On a single chain, there were 4 to 5 cells at various heights, all hanging from the roof.
Nursery
A room in the citadel has been converted into a nursery due to the numerous death among giants after they attempted to attack the mainland. The orphans are cared for by storm giants within the citadel.
