Yaevinn is an elven leader who championed territorial expansion, ultimately founding the
Kingdom of Galandor in the
Lightfoot Land after facing opposition within the
Kingdom of Lórien.
History
Yaevinn played a pivotal role in leading diplomatic negotiations within the Kingdom of Lorien, advocating for the expansion of their territory to the north and east, extending beyond the border of the
Orrin Empire. This ambitious plan aimed to elevate the elves to a major faction, with improved access to sea routes that would grant them dominance over maritime trade.
Despite her persistent efforts, Yaevinn's proposal was repeatedly denied. Frustrated by the refusal to heed her vision, the determined Yaevinn gathered like-minded individuals and embarked on a westward journey. In doing so, she was labeled a rogue and betrayer, but Yaevinn remained steadfast as the leader of her people, providing a path for the unheard.
Arriving in the region known as
Green earth, Yaevinn attempted to execute her expansion plan by launching guerrilla groups near the edges of the
Calames Jungle to disrupt trade. However, the hostile nature of the jungle, even to the elves, led to swift and decisive defeats by the
Yuan-ti forces of the
Chezucore Theocracy, who defended their realm.
Recognizing the futility of her plans and the risk of unnecessary casualties, Yaevinn chose to withdraw her forces. Instead, she led her people further west, eventually establishing a claim on the land that would later become known as the Lightfoot Land. This previously unoccupied territory, inhabited only by nomadic clans and tribes, was officially claimed by Yaevinn under the banner of the newly formed kingdom of Galandor.
