City of Wizards

Eltabbar, also known as the City of Wizards, is one of the few cities in Thay actively opposing Szass Tam. It is ruled by the known mage Bigby, who tries to be a fair leader whilst defending his city from the surrounding magocracies. He is also the main, and seemingly only, opposing party in Thay to Szass Tam's reign.

1401 after the Great War:

Bigby is appointed as leader of Thay, as the forces of Szass Tam, the ruler of Bezantur , become more and more unrelentless.

1479 after the Great War:

The necromancer Sylora Salmjoins as head-mistress of the military of Eltabbar, as Bigby deems that the best way to defeat an archlich is to have a profound knowledge of necromancy.
