Manshaka, is a city known for its twin Blood Arenas. It is also a home for gamblers and smugglers, being the largest gambling city in all of Faerûn.

Ever since the city's construction:

Although not as discriminatory as in Calimport , the citizens of Manshaka frown upon the use of magic within the walls of the city. Magical items are not prohibited, however owning many is usually the reflection of having close ties to the arcane.

The Blood Arenas are home of many gladiator battles. Some mages are invited specifically to enhance and modify the battlefield, having their face concealed behind a mask the whole time in order to protect themselves from ''the shame of their arcane ways''.

1487 after the Great War:

A party of adventurers win the yearly tournament held within the walls of the Blood Arenas. In a seen-often-before turn of event, one member of the party, Boblin the Goblin, decided that he would not split the prize. He turned on his teammates, and the winning party quickly got engaged in their final battle, one pitting them against one another. Only one would stand. The party's paladin, Camille Dawnbringer, won this combat, displaying an overwhelming amount of force, using her signature electric-based abilities.

Camille Dawnbringer becomes head of the guard for the Sultan Ralan el Pesarkhal, the despotic ruler of Manshaka.
