Myth Drannor
The Ruins of Many Names
Myth Drannor, formerly known as the city of Cormanthor, the City of Song, or the City of Love among other names, is the former capital city Cormanthyr in the forest of Cormanthor. It is considered by many to be the pinnacle of shared knowledge, culture, and civilization in Faerûn, as well a beacon of serenity and solidarity in the chaotic Realms.

Modifications to the actual lore include: 1404 after the Great War:During a war between eastern magocracies, in which Myth Drannorians had nothing to do, a chase for wild artefacts led multiple armies into Myth Drannor, looking for one of the legendary Well of Spells. Too afraid of the artefact falling into his opponents' hands, Szass Tam, the iron-fist archlich ruler of Bezantur , made Thultanthar, an ancient floating city, crash on Myth Drannor, leveling both cities and leaving no one alive in the process. The Well of Spells was never found, nor its existence was ever proven. The city was left in ruins and is still believed to not be inhabited by any intelligent creature.
