Baseline information in regards to Telos City can be found here.
Modifications to the actual lore include: Telos used to be a peaceful city where flowers and nature were abundant, regardless of the arctic climate of the North on which it stands. This was mainly due to the eponymous Telos, a primordial being that fell from the sky as a shooting star around 200 years after the Great War. Its energy would radiate and offer a great deal of potency and positive energy to both the lands and inhabitants of the region, to the great pleasure of the benevolent family of rulers that lead the country, the Sovarenn. Agriculture was blooming, and so was the economy. This lasted until the year 1465, when an entity, now only known as the Voice of Telos , was able to sync his mind to the powers of Telos himself, using him as a weapon to start feeding his dark desires. 1466 after the Great WarThe Voice of Telos creates the Warlock Knights of Vaasa and smelts their armor directly from the primordial Telos' catatonic body.
This group starts secretly gathering more and more members until their forces are large enough to make an attack on the throne. The convoy of Warlock Knights takes the city easily, leaving but death and ruin in its wake. People flee Telos, leaving behind a desolate capital of darkness now inhabited by undeads and the few unlucky enough humans that did not have the time to leave. These poor men and woman are now forced into a life of labor, further mining Telos' ever regenerating body.
The Voice puts in place theIronfell Council.
Forces of evil are sent by the Voice across the realm in search of the Sovarenn prince and his bride-to-be.
1467 after the Great War
The Ironfell Council announces to the people of Vaas that the Sovarenn couple was found and executed. This will eventually prove to be a lie, as discovered 30 years later.
1493 after the Great War
Two gigantic and powerful elemental wolves tear through the small city of Kotasayur after decades of hunting. There, they find the Sovarenn prince and his wife in their small cottage and kill them, leaving with their bodies. A large part of Kotayasur is left in flames after the incident.
1494 after the Great War
The Golden Company learns that one of their members, the ranger Ianvalor, as the son of the Sovarenn prince, unbeknownst to him until he found a letter from his parents. In a search for revenge, and wanting to deliver its small kingdom from the tyranny of the Ironfell Council led by the Voice of Telos.
The Voice is eventually discovered as being Sylvannas Windrunner, a drow with a troubled past who had stumbled within the underground caves of the city, decades prior, where she found the ancient primordial Telos.
The Golden Company eventuall challenges Sylvannas and the Ironfell Council, liberating the city from the cold grasp of the undeads that roamed it.
1495 after the Great War
The Golden Company puts a lot of effort into bringing Telos back on its feet. Ilanor, warlock for the Company, buys off hundreds of slaves, to which he gives their freedom. He offers them paid work in the city of Telos, to help rebuild (and eventually repopulate) the area. This helps the city get back onto its feet and go back to its former state of peace, with Ianvalor at the head of the governement. He establishes a council made up of noble, and less noble, houses, in order to share the reins of the kindgom with people coming from a variety of backgrounds.
Telos becomes a constitutional monarchy, with the Sovarenn family still representing the crown.
Flowers start sprouting by the end of the year.
