Mirach Daanaath III

Cruel and heartless, Mirach Daanaath III rose to power in 1435 taking over as head of The Daanaath Family crime organization. Seeing him as too soft, Mirach III began taking charge of the family slowly since her youth. Always known for her vicious temper and lack of patience, Mirach III was never afraid to get her hands dirty. Much to her father's dismay, as a child she was fond of the fighting pits where she would first make her claim to power. By her teens she was managing the pits after the manager, Quim Ballosera, went missing and was never found.
When Mt. Hotenow erupted in 1421 yet again tearing through the city and destroying much of the Beggar’s Nest, Mirach III had carved out a sizable portion of her father's business. In the wake of the city begin yet again thrown into disarray by the eruption, The Family began to splinter. Small groups saw opportunities to seize money, power, and whole sections of the city for themselves.
By 1423, her father had, in her eyes, fallen from the favor of Beshaba (patron deity of The Family) and lost his grip on the city. Leading a coup, she murdered her father keeping and mounting his horns as a reminder to any of those still loyal to him. She always viewed her father with disdain (the feeling was mutual) as he never shared her penchant for violence.
Mirach III played an integral role during the Rebuilding of Neverwinter. She aligned herself with a reluctant Dagult Neverember when his Mintarn mercenaries could not hold the beasts released from The Chasm at bay. Together with the help of her enforcers, the mercenaries stemmed the flow of aberrant creatures and restored order.
