Nimbrali
Expatriates from Halruaa, who left their homeland when persecuted for their worship of Leira, colonised the island of Nimbral in the 2nd century DR, integrating with the extant population of Moon Elves. The elves welcomed the humans with open arms and a large number of the humans intermarried with the elves. By the 5th centruy DR, there wasn't a single pure-blooded elf left on the island and these descendants lived in harmony for a long time. Willing to put a premium on the school of illusion, the deceptive inhabitants of the distant island of Nimbral (called Nimbrali) were all accomplished illusionists. It seemed their prolonged contact with magic changed their mages into something other than humans. Nimbral illusionists did not have any forbidden school of magic.
