A Pair of Black Antlers
The most famous tavern in the city, is a meeting place for adventurers of all ages. Adventures started, or ended, right here.
Architecture
This dimly lit tavern has wood-paneled walls, and a smoky atmosphere. It's a close and maze-like place with a multi-level taproom and filled with stone support pillars, thick low-hanging beams, and big dark-hued furniture salvaged or looted from old castles and villas. Rooms are illuminated by three blue-coloured driftglobes which are controlled by the staff.
Throughout the years it became heavily decorated with a wide variety of adventurers' finds, trophies, such as old and well-used weaponry, claws, and shocked-looking heads of different monsters, ancient maps purporting to detail several dungeons or crypts. Most impressive of all is the enormous rack of stag's antlers at least 20 feet (6.1 meters) wide for which the tavern was named.
Rumour has it that multiple sacks of gold are concealed under the taproom floorboards. Patrons have often attempted to pry up the boards when they thought themselves unobserved, with seemingly every board having pulled up and put back several times throughout the years.
