Description
Gimble is still very young, which makes a lot of his characteristics very clear. He is intuitive, nice, gullible, and also obnoxious.
With his love for playing instruments, Gimble rarely puts his trusty flute away even in the most unfitting circumstances.
Development
When their adventure in Barovia first began, the group learned that Gimble’s father had died earlier in his life. They know this because of the hallucination Gimble had at the Crossroads. Gimble and
Ocarym Noccr are the only two left of their original group since
Jakior de Onverschrokken had disappeared in the mists of Barovia. Gimble often treats
Ocarym Noccr as the brother he never had and can often be seen carried on his shoulders. Through his adventure in Barovia, Gimble grew close with
Rark, a half-orc they met along the way. As soon as Rark started playing on his violin they immediately bonded with each other.
Disappearance
Gimble reminds
Rudolph van Richten of his son that he lost all those years ago. Over the next few days
Rudolph van Richten will walk restlessly through the tower, mumbling some unintelligible words under his breath. When Gimble wakes up to fish he starts visiting him and talk to him. When the party leaves the tower to follow the group of aasimar falling from the sky, he tells Gimble he needs him to follow him. He even tells Gimble this the night before the attack.
