Personal history
Kuzon originated from a group of worshipers of Tiamat. She lived in an underground society near the Nether Mountains and was born as a fire genasi.
Fire genasi are seen as a direct sign from Tiamat that she is still alive, as her power and rage flows through the fires of these genasi. Even though the fire genasi are considered as blessed by Tiamat herself, the female fire genasi seem to excel the males, their power quickly outgrowing the males since birth.

When a female fire-genasi is born they are treated as royalty and are subjected to strict rituals they must all perform. One of the most important rituals being that of The Rite of Respect, which takes place once a female fire genasi turns 18. It is a complicated ritual that was performed while approaching any chromatic dragon. Someone who performs this ritual can either succeed by earning the respect of their opponent, or fail. If one fails she is either killed by the chromatic dragon, or she is will be punished with the death sentence.
Like every other female fire genasi, Kuzon was taken away from her parents by birth to be trained and raised as a proper worshiper of Tiamat. The name Kuzon stems from the word ‘Fury’, as can be compared to all names.
Once she turned 18 it was time for The Rite of Respect. Kuzon was tasked to find a chromatic dragon and earning their respect. This would be the first time she had left the caves in the mountains to start her journey.
With her training and knowledge she knew where to find a Red Dragon named Hestrasz. He was impressed by Kuzon’s willpower, and decided to take her in.

Even though Hestrasz believed that Tiamat had died years ago, he still upholds the tradition. He was an ancient Red Dragon who used to rule his mountains with fear and spewed fire as hot as his anger. However, he soon found out that there was something that kept him for feeling fulfilled. You see, Hestrasz’ only child was taken away from him by Tiamat and his son overstept his boundaries. It was Tiamat’s ranking that ultimately stopped Hestrasz to take revenge that day, for she was far more powerful than he could ever be.
As his last task in his life, Hestrasz raised Kuzon as his own and taught her what the other fire genasi did not, patience and respect for others. He taught her everything about the world’s history and what he learned while roaming it.

Failures & Embarrassments
Mental Trauma
Seven years after she started her life under Hestrasz, Hestrasz and Kuzon were awoken as the ground starting rumbling around them. Hestrasz focussed on something in the air which Kuzon could not see until it was too late. She saw the sight of two metallic dragons rushing their way towards them as Hestrasz shielded her from the impact of their breath attacks which his wing. When the dragons rushed away as quickly as they appeared, Kuzon moved from under Hestrasz’ wing. The metallic dragons had killed him.
Everything Hestrasz taught her about the respect for the other type of dragons disappeared as her old teachings came brewing up like boiling water. She only knew one thing: anger and hatred for Metallic Dragons.
While still in training with the other Aeros genasi from her generation, one of the three other genasi was found in bed with the baker's boy. Kuzon found her and killed both of them on the spot for breaking their oath without a second thought. Kuzon was rewarded for this decision and the elders were impressed and were certain of her bright future.

Taboos
Kuzon had involuntarily taken off her helmet as she was capture by the Hill Giants, this broke her oath to Tiamat. She later remade her promise to Tiamat by praying to her begging to save Dionne Brando's life.
Then later Delsephine convinced her to take off the helmet during a game of Dragon's Bluff. Later that night, Delsephine told Kuzon that it doesn't matter if you're wearing a helmet or not, you can still uphold your promise. The legitimacy of a promise is determined by how much you value the promise, not by a physical object.
