Many followers of Mother Night are evil aligned creatures roaming the world, an example of this includes werewolves and followers of Strahd.

History

Mother Night is the most popular religion in Barovia as it was brought to the country when Strahd took over all those years ago. When Strahd sought to study powerful magic he made a pact with the Mother Night and was therefore granted immortality.
