Bruises of the Vigilante
These two brass knuckles are stamped "Thoughts" and "Prayers" respectively and were gifted to the only man in a village willing to stand against injustice. The gifter is unknown, but many theories point to it being the Laughing Bard and it is one of the Remnants of Sundering. Though they can technically be used by anyone, those who are proficient in hand-to-hand combat, especially monks and martial artists, will be able to use them to their most.
As it is further awakened, the brass brightens and moulds itself to the wielder, the stamps get more prominent and the font becomes more complex, and they begin to glow and crackle with their imbued elements.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
Dormant State: Increases accuracy and damage of unarmed strikes. On one of your unarmed strikes per turn, you can do psychic damage with "Thoughts" or celestial damage with "Prayers".
Awakened State: Further increases accuracy and damage of unarmed strikes. At the end of a meditation you temporarily increase your physical vitality, the amount of which is determined by your mental control.
Empowered State: Even further increases accuracy and damage of unarmed strikes. You can do some additional damage for any unarmed strikes that hit, up to double the usual. Furthermore, you can choose to make a strike a Bolstered Strike, dealing a moderate amount of necrotic damage. This ability cannot be used again until a rest is completed, OR you land a critical hit on an unarmed strike.
