Isabella Ingrassia

Queen Isabella Giuliana Lugo Ingrassia (a.k.a. Isabella the True)

Born the eldest daughter of the Lord of Miramare and Rios, Isabella Giuliana Lugo Ingrassia was swiftly betrothed to the crown prince of Toscana, Francisco I. The pair were married in 1516, and rose to the throne in 1518. Isabella chose the violet as her royal flower.   As queen, Queen Isabella was much beloved. She was a devout Catholic and a quiet, patient woman. Her son, Prince Antonio, is said to remember her fondly. However, her short reign was quickly overshadowed by her successors.   Isabella passed in 1522, giving birth to her son Antonio. Her short reign is overshadowed by her succesors.  

Personality and Appearance

Isabella was a tall and round woman, with definitively Ponteic features, though she claimed Sacristan heritage. She was not overly concerned with the fashion of the time, instead opting for practical hairstyles, little rogue, and simple gowns in shades of purple and blue.
