Dresmorlin Cobath
Totania's Nightmare
Dresmorlin Cobath (a.k.a. The Sun Hidden Beneath the Horizon)
Dresmorlin Cobath is the first Elf to ever be created, but he is more known in the future as Elone's Great Vampire Lord and the user of Demon Magic.
History
Dresmorlin Cobath was of the fifth sentient species to be made on Totania, after Dragons, Giants, Mammen, and Orcs. Created as a prototype of all future Elves, the Goddess Selene fashioned him off of the Orc known as Zumzur Cobath. He then witnessed the creation of all Elves, including the one who would go on to be his "sister." A woman named Meiriris Nerifir. Dresmorlin would ultimately meet an Elven woman named Darra Floshe. The two would fall in love and settle down, though they would fall victim to the Gods Mimir and Satanael just like all other Elves and Orcs.Enslaved by the Gods
Dresmorlin Cobath would be enslaved by these two Gods, like every other Elf and Orc. He would be given the job of cutting out houses from the gold that Satanael and Mimir wished the city to be built of. His memory was wiped of what came before, and instead he was forced to build the city of Camor, alongside his friends Narkard Tinnel Nerifir and Satora Molthi. Living with Darra, their relationship started to grow distant. More than anything, Dresmorlin grew bored of everything. His relationship, his job, his life. Nothing excited him, and it seemed the same was true for Darra in their relationship, as she cheated on him. To escape from this mundanity, Dresmorlin Cobath died. The Holy Rebellion
Dresmorlin Cobath was reported dead in the slave colony of Camor, with the soldiers of the Gods confirming it and Tavzion Mossense even consoling Darra. However, some say he instead was with a man named the Master of Secrets. No one knows who this was. The part he played in the revolt known as the Holy Rebellion is unclear, but at the end of it, he returned, having apparently done something notable enough against Mimir that he was given a noble title. The truth of the Holy Rebellion is yet to be fully understood, with some believing that many of its events were hidden by Mimir himself, as well as Dresmorlin Cobath and Meiriris Nerifir. The Elven Kingdom
Dresmorlin's sister, Meiriris Nerifir, who led the Holy Rebellion, became Queen of Camor and ruled over Elves and Orcs alike. When troubles erupted between Elves like Galgeon Lusisce and Orcs like Amukk God Breaker, it is said that Dresmorlin fanned the flames. For, more than anything, Dresmorlin wanted to be entertained, and he believed that such battles could satiate his boredom and keep him with something to watch. Meiriris would often ask Dresmorlin to stop, but he refused."I will not stop. It is entertaining, much more than any politicking you'd have me do, sister."But this would not be the greatest trouble that Dresmorlin Cobath would cause for Meiriris. This was still yet to come.
The Stemine
The youth of Camor felt that Meiriris and the entire older generation were stifling them, and these ideas were only expanded upon when Dresmorlin Cobath approached the head of this movement, Chadzar Dalarune. Dresmorlin said that he knew Meiriris was intending to horde all of the power for herself, and suggested they revolt. He initially intended to simply watch, but ultimately Dresmorlin Cobath was caught up in this revolt as well, being forced to flee Camor with the young Elves and Chadzar. Chadzar grabbed Dresmorlin in the Elven Forest, the same moment he touched the glowing blue flower known as the Stemine, teleporting all of them into caves deep under Totania. The Second Dark Elf
Dresmorlin Cobath would, like all other Elves that were teleported, be exposed to the light of the Stemine and, in the dark of the cave, have his skin grey, becoming a "Dark Elf." After this, Dresmorlin caused more trouble, enough to be put in prison even in the Dark Elven caves and ultimately, some say, executed. However, the story of the Dead Man's Tale says he was given Demon Magic and became a Great Vampire Lord, breaking out of prison, killing Chadzar Dalarune, and fleeing the caves. Some say he still roams the world today, staying in the Elven Forest to cause trouble and make as much entertainment as possible. The Vampire Hunters
If one believes that, then they would believe the story of Sinner and Dresser Caerxan, the Korvians who built the village of Waire and founded the Vampire Hunters organization. Sinner claimed he did so because, when fighting the vampire known as Jarded Runove, he was assaulted by Dresmorlin Cobath, who claimed to want to see Sinner squirm and fight for as long as possible because it was "entertaining." It is said another Korvian, Pretender, found proof of Dresmorlin's continued existence and backed Sinner's claim, though there are still some who do not see a reason why this historical legend would still be lurking to this very day.Relationships

Information
Sexuality
Dresmorlin Cobath was straight, most notably having a wife who he lived with for hundreds of years: Darra Floshe Cobath. Some believe that after the Holy Rebellion, after learning his wife cheated on him and having experienced death, he detached from relationships. While he did have children upon becoming a Dark Elf, there were no long term relationships, with some even saying he had children moreso out of necessity than desire. Many believe that if the myth of Dresmorlin Cobath surviving as a Vampire is true, that he is asexual, having found it repulsive to mate with people thousands of years his junior. No one knows what is true.Religion
Dresmorlin Cobath was known to be rather anti-religion, likely due to his having been enslaved by the Gods. He did not follow any religion in his lifetime due to this.Physical Condition
Dresmorlin Cobath did hard labor for much of his time as a slave, but it wasn't enough to build much muscle mass. Only later in life, when he was imprisoned, did he truly bulk up.Wealth
Dresmorlin Cobath was a man of unfathomable wealth, as he worked with gold as a slave, and therefore knew the best ways to procure and maintain his wealth of gold. Even as a Dark Elf, it is said he was the most wealthy man in the caves, and he prided himself on the reactions people would give when he simply threw gold at people who needed it. This, too, he found entertaining. But more than that, he kept himself rich because he figured it would cause a stir. He knew how much a class divide could cause trouble after the Holy Rebellion. He knew that the most entertaining thing was to create something to fight against. So Dresmorlin didn't mind if people got angry at him and the other wealthy Elves. He reveled in it.Social Life
Dresmorlin Cobath was a wealthy socialite in the Elven Kingdom after the Holy Rebellion, though many considered him strange, as he liked to keep a distance, being more entertained observing people than truly engaging with them. Though there were some few people who he enjoyed the company of, such as his friends Narkard Tinnel Nerifir and Satora Molthi, or his sister Meiriris Nerifir. It is said, as well, that his best friend since the death of these three was his mortal enemy, the Vampire Hunter Sinner Caerxan. It is believed that Dresmorlin values their rivalry so much that he looks forward to tormenting Sinner again and again.Abilities
Dresmorlin Cobath was a man of many talents. He was said to be an expert at heating things up, with his job as a slave being to heat metal to the point that it was at its most malleable.Fire Magic
Dresmorlin Cobath was a fire mage. It is unclear what level of Flames he achieved, though it is certain that if he was truly a vampire, they would be strong due to how long he has lived. Some say that unlike other vampires, he may not be as effected by flames, though there is no proof of this, as most vampire hunters like Sinner have said:"He's a Vampire. Of course he's hurt by fire. I just need the right flame to do the bastard in."It is said he was called the "Sun Hidden Beneath the Horizon" because of his hidden role in Elven society, as well as his potent flames.
