The Cold Cabin

A lone cabin perched onto on a sand dune within The Yellowstone Plane. The origin of its construction is unknown.

History

The Cold Cabin was located 14 klicks west 55 klicks north from Outpost Bessie. Its finding was intentionally accidental, as one explorer accidentally bumped into the infrastructure, hurting themselves in the process.   The building is now claimed by The Klementine Company .

Appearance

-Architecture

The Cold Cabin is a simple four-wall hut made out of greyish-black lumber. It seems extremely brittle yet holds itself to the dark environment it's placed around.    Its shadowy exterior lets it blend into its environment extremely well; being only seen if backlit or in close proximity to a lamp.

-Design

The inside of the cabin lacked any furniture whatsoever. Though the outside depicts a chimney, no fireplace is present inside the building. Floorboards are non-existent, with the abundant pale sand layering the floor of the interior.   The walls are undecorated, showing no insulation as their the exact exterior planks for protection. The interior seems entirely charred.

Contents

The only contents inside of the Cold Cabin are the remnants of a body located on the northern wall of the building.   The corpse is heavily decomposed, with bone only remaining. The face of the deceased has a strange anomaly to it as it seems to have an additional jaw located under its initial jaw. The skull structure seems to support the lower jaw can retract and had full mobile control for use.   On its person, a fabric-like substance is found on the cuffs of the body, a distinct glow being seen emitting from it. Additionally, located in the windpipe is a fossilized bone manufactured as a makeshift whistle .
