Desperate Measures
General Summary
As the session opened, we rejoined the crew of the I.I.S.S. Havoc aboard the beleaguered Lab ship, the Fata Morgana. The recent explosion of the Pinnace shuttle exacerbated the damage from the earlier blast in the auxiliary lab, resulting in a catastrophic hull breach. With the maintenance and fuel tunnels cut open, sealing off the affected section was an impossibility.
Thinking quickly, the crew donned their vac suits and placed the two survivors they had previously found into low berths. In a calculated maneuver to prevent explosive decompression and the potential tearing apart of the ship, they vented the ship's atmosphere. Their swift actions mitigated further damage. A subsequent search revealed another potential survivor, who was on the brink of asphyxiation and suffering from exposure to the vacuum of space. She was promptly placed into a low berth, and the crew made their way back aboard the Havoc.

The crew then arranged to transport cargo to Wardn and executed a J-4 jump from Caladbolg to Wardn.

Meanwhile, Captain Frost was summoned by Naval Intelligence to a meeting with Lieutenant Kara Bryne. During this meeting, he encountered Josephine Edward, a diplomat from the Darrian Confederation. Josephine claimed to possess crucial intelligence from her government that needed to reach Mora, the party's destination.
