Okoda

Okoda is the capital for Melachai, and has been since The War for Okoda. The citizens love living there now, but it was a different story when the Malatian family attacked.
The village was devastated by the first family. They never expected the attack, and were nearly wiped out in the process. The Malatian family forced the remaining villagers to stay in and make their own families to make the village grow into a city. Slowly but surely the city grew into a very prosperous place, and slowly but surely the Malatian family changed from ruthless and uncaring to wonderful and kind.
The city is now a very nice place to live, and is a hub for trade and provides many jobs to the people. Many Melachian history books don’t like to wipe out their awful past. It serves as a reminder of how they shouldn’t be. A reminder that anyone can change for the better and stay good. It is taught in schools that what once was a terrible place to be, now exists as a metropolis for success, both in money and personal growth.
The city is known for the great castle in the center of town, and the wonderful king and queen. They are quite possibly the friendliest royals in Melachian history, and the kingdom loves them. They are no longer the terrifying oppressors they once were. They never will be again.

History

The War for Okoda really took a toll on the village. It destroyed buildings, families, and landmarks. The Malatian royal family took over from there. After years of oppression and terror, the city finally turned around for the better. The kingdom started getting nicer, and the villagers started being able to turn the village into a wonderful city. Since then, the city is well visited and many people love living there.
