The Malatian Castle

The Castle of Melachai is a great landmark in Okoda, and is the oldest castle in the world. King Argyle and Queen Matilda both reside there, and so do their children, and Matilda’s father. It has stood since its construction date of 19 PK. It used to be a symbol of oppression and greed, but has since been framed as a place of kindness and humility. The castle itself is nestled in the valley, not too far from the ocean. It proves to be a strong structure time tested against weather and armed forces of the past. The castle stands tall against the horizon, and all that can see it understand how important it is to the kingdom. The castle was finished in 19 PK, and the first royal family that had it built as a show of their power. It took a full 10 years to finish, and the family moved in as soon as it was done. They demanded it be done sooner, but the workers tried to tell them that it was impossible. The family didn’t listen and fired anyone that tried to tell them otherwise. The first royal family has never been forgotten. They were a ruthless people, and no one wants to fall under the control of a family like them again. It took many years for the family to turn from terrible to wonderful, and they will not fall into their old ways again.
