Aranelleth
Aranelleth, nestled within the heart of Cae'lora, stands adorned with the vibrant essence of the ancient woods that envelop the city, melding seamlessly with the natural surroundings; its, and the city's, very existence veiled by the potent magic of both the fae and the Wood Elves that traverse the ancient woods.
The structure, seemingly woven from the ancient trunks and branches themselves, presents an enchanting facade—moss-covered walls entwined with blossoming vines, as though the flora has harmoniously intertwined to form the walls and columns. The architecture embodies an organic symphony, where the fluid lines of nature merge with the refined craftsmanship of Elvish design.
Aranelleth changes its appearance subtly with the seasons—blossoming into resplendent hues of spring, donning the vibrant greens of summer, transforming into a kaleidoscope of autumnal colors, and slumbering beneath a mantle of snow in winter. The structure seems to breathe with the pulse of the forest, ever alive and in harmony with the ebb and flow of of the seasons.
The interior is a labyrinthine maze of interconnected chambers and passages. The walls and ceilings resonate with the sound of murmuring rivulets, wind whispering through the trees, the serene rustling of leaves, and the chittering of the small animals that make their homes within its branches and vines. Each room is bathed in an ethereal luminescence, the light filtering through the canopy above, painting the spaces in a soft, tranquil glow that shifts in patterns, mimicking sunlight filtered through swaying foliage.
The magic surrounding Aranelleth, like the magics that heavily permeate the air of the Jade Wood, acts as a protective veil, cloaking it from the prying eyes of the outside world, shielding it from unwelcome intrusion; many have tried to pierce the magically powerful veil surrounding the old woods and if any actually have in the past four or five centuries Xyrdri has dispatched it himself or pridefully pretended such intrusion did not happen.
