House Fleur was one of the many that made their names known during the middle of the Second Age as the seafaring Giamela Kingdom was focused on bringing the seas to heel. The Fleurs and others looked to the lands westward of the The Whispering Woods to claim glory, though it hast been said that the journey west was the end of a Fleur Family proper and the beginnings of a Fleur Dynasty that has shaped a linage that only the gods could comprehend and one of the few times a gods' motives were actually put on display for the world to see and be recorded by man through the foundation of Brusel as a regional power. House Fleur shed much of their seafaring roots as Giamelans during the years 550-560s After the Sundering, taking the Divine Beast as their familial and city's patron deity. Every matriarch that has ruled the region can trace their lineage back to its founder, Lady Kiaya Fleur, but they are only bound by name and not of blood as Fleur women, past, present, and future are to simultaneously be blessed by her goddess and be cursed by her pact with her from near five centuries past. To this day, no one truly knows why the Fleurs are the way they are, all they know is Mistress of Moonlight is and has been their light for generations.
