A lost descendant of the Eighth Emperor Roland Voloken caused upheaval across the Empire, despite the sitting Emperor's attempts to quash the rumors as the line of succession was now thrown into question as the Voloken line was slowly lost and replaced over the prior two centuries.   These attempts would be for naught after the Lady-Regent Galiene Lanne undermined the crown by declaring her House to this new heir; it would be the major catalyst to start the Lost Emperor Uprising and pit countrymen against each other and the crown against its subjects.   By the end of the war old blood with a new name would sit upon the throne and the Dynasty of House Volker would continue to reshape the future of the Empire and Kalbela as a whole.
