Expedition

In search of the Primas of Yi'riila and a safe place for Iz, the group travelled north and stayed in Wolvewich. During the night, the priest of the local church was mysteriously and seemingly sacrificially murdered in the church.   After investigating the area, the group found the murderer's tracks leading into the forest. Following the trail and after killing an undead owlbear named the 'Mighty Poultry' with relative ease, they've found a small clearing with 6 stone arches. With the help of Iz, they managed to open them and followed the tracks left by the murderer.   After a petrifying incident with a pack of weird beasts, the group arrived at a small fort, which was home (or prison) to a strange, black entity taking the shape of an oversized egg and a humanoid figure suspended on chains above it. Upon entering the fort, the figure attacked them, but they managed to kill it.   After resting, the group investigated the entity and found an unconscious Iz inside, after seemingly being teleported away during the fight by the figure.   They decided to leave the place and took Iz with them. When they reached the stone arches, they found Iz's mother, Sara, who helped their petrified member and thanked them for keeping her daughter safe. Upon exiting through the stone arch, 'Iz' turned into dark smoke, revealing that it was all a deception and Iz remains missing.
