It is composed of regions called Reiw that are ruled by a Reihs, a sort of warden, generally elected but most often following a logical line of succession as there is a tendency to respect the family that has been in power. It is believed that as long as they serve and rule well, there is no reason to doubt that the children will not.
There used to be only three but since the orcs were driven from the mountains, a fourth was created including all the northern part. Foreign lands across the sea are also being colonised and might soon become new, faraway Reiwes.
