Dymus' Isle
History
Dymus' Isle is a small island northwest of the capital city of Riphtenland, Rousselot. The island is smaller than the capital city in terms of total landmass and is the third island of the four islands that make up the Houndarian Island Chain. Dymus' Isle is primarily known for housing the Cottage of Dymus, a small wooden shack that is thought to have been built by Dymus himself to house his ancient scriptures. Upon the discovery of Dymus, he gave these scriptures to the people of Riphtenland and abandoned the cottage. The cottage has somehow survived multiple millennia on the island, remaining in perfect condition apart from a few overgrown plants. It acts as a tourist attraction for some though the cottage is thought to have many hidden passages or rooms that could be dangerous in nature, having been built by a neutral deity. Throughout history, the Island has remained a peaceful location apart from a few instances of bandits attempting to settle it only to mysteriously disappear shortly afterwards.
