Reptilidae
The classification reptilidae, often called lizardmen or reptilians covers a number of different humanoids.
In broad terms these humanoids are possibly derived from reptilian ancestors and as such feature many reptilian traits. Such as possession of a tail.
One example is the Murinan.
The most common denomination for this group of humanoids is lizardmen just as it is catpeople for the felidae and wolfen for the canidiae even if all three are strongly misleading.
Neither are all reptilidae lizard forms nor are canidiae all of the lupine forms or all felidae beloning to the felinae.
