draconian sapients

Draconian species are not a subgroup of reptilians as they often differ massively.

A draconian species can be classed as such if it fulfils most of the following criteria:

• The body plan is built around six extremities that can be classed as arms, legs or wings and have a tail.
• The body has a two-sided build, a front and a back, upper side and lower side orientation.
• The species is warm- or even hot-blooded.
• The species exhibits some kind of dermal armour, most often scales but boney plates like scutes are known to exist.
• Procreation is sexual.
