Midgard

Midgard is human realm of the nine realms. Interaction between the nine realms is very low since portals through Yggdrasil are very hard to find, and navigating Yggdrasil is even harder. However visitors from the other nine realms have been known to visit Midgard, since Midgard is the center of the Nine Realms.

History

The Fimbul winter, an omen of Ragnarok, has 20 years since passed killing much of the population that was not used to the bitterly cold extremes. The north-men easily survive having already prepared for the three year winter.
