Cohort
A cohort is a subunit of the Roman Legion. Cohorts contain 500 legionaries, divided up into five centuries of 100 each. A cohort is commanded by the most senior leader of the five centuries, i.e. the Senior Centurion. Typically, cohorts consist of a single unit type, such as five centuries of cavalry, or five centuries of infantry. Some exceptions exist, such as cohorts that have a scouting century of aarakocra.
