The Battle of Easthaven, Biri's Second Chance

Lydia, with the help of D'zann, uses her newly acquired staff of power to turn back time just enough to give them a week to get the group back to Easthaven as the Frostmaiden prepares to assault the city of Easthaven, temporarily averting her gaze from the buried city...   Lydia and the group are successful is once again killing the demilich and using their previously discovered knowledge to attune to the Ythrynn Mythallar. Afterwards they are able to use the city and it's forcefield to destroy the glacier that resides over it.   Lydia and the group proceed to fly their newly acquired city to Easthaven and hopefully make it in time to save Biri, to change their friend's fate.

Afterwards they are able to use the city and it's forcefield to destroy the glacier that resides over it.   Lydia and the group proceed to fly their newly acquired city to Easthaven and hopefully make it in time to save Biri, to change their friend's fate.   After nearly a week of travel, the group makes it to Easthaven as the Frostmaiden is assaulting the town. Biri, who has made a temporary alliance with Gren Grayben, is fighting with every ability and spell at her disposal. Using Call Lightning and her Mace of Fear to clear the enemies out of the town. Her goddess gives her a temporary boon of health to assist her. Biri carries on as Gren is nearly killed and holds out hope her friends will arrive.   As luck and fate would have it, the flying city of Ythrynn breaks through the storm surrounding Easthaven. Lydia, Xin, Armin, Damian and Arvid fly down from the city and help Biri clear out the remaining enemies raiding Easthaven. As the final frost giant falls, the Frostmaiden once again appears before the group in Easthaven to collect the death that she believes she is owed.   The group engages in a deadly combat against the Frostmaiden, with both Biri and Lydia nearly falling to an onslaught of attack. The Frostmaiden reveals two additional forms beyond her owl avatar. A giant lady of ice and a frozen heart. After expending much of her power and being pushed to her limit, the Frostmaiden falls with the final blow being dealt by Arvid.    The final blow delivers a blast of energy to Arvid, but imbues him with a fraction of power. Giving him the Blessing of the Frostmaiden. The group rejoices and embraces Biri, finally able to breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy their reunion. Later that night after the group patches up a few buildings, there is a great feast at the local tavern. The group drinks, cries and toast to each other. With a toast from Armin, the party bard, the night comes to a close.   When the group awakes in the morning, they find that Armin is missing. His bedsheets and room damp with water, with a smell of an evening fog permeating the room...
