Emperor Lucubratio
Emperor Julius Delacroix - Lucubratio
Former leader of his family's name, king of The Delacroix Kingdom, husband to Empress Crescentia, father to Rosabel, and the bane of Cantionis' existence. As the only legitimate child of the previous King of Delacroix, he inherited the crown at 17 when his father died. Shortly after marrying Empress Crescentia he let go of his position as King Delacroix in favor of the new title, Emperor Delacroix-Lucubratio and gave the former position to his half-brother Varius Fitzroy. Recently he and Crescentia had a daughter named Rosabel Lucubratio-Delacroix, while he's not emotionally affectionate to her, Julius is already known to spoil Rosabel with outrageous and largely unnecessary gifts.
Relationships
Many relationships Julius has with others are multi-faceted and complex, with interactions pre-determined by the current location, time, and situation. Some are strictly business, others are genuine and heartfelt, but the most common is that of distrust, lies, and deceit.Varius Fitzroy
His older brother, bonded by their father, the pair are very close to each other, and when a chance to make something benefit his brother comes along he always takes it. The two grew up together, away from their mothers and only saw their father face-to-face rarely, often troublemakers they plotted and schemed well into adulthood, and still do so today.Crescentia Lucubratio
The Empress of the Lucubratio Empire, it has been five years since they've married, a mere few months since their daughter was born, and going on eight years since they met for the first time. Julius insists his love for his wife is sincere, and he has a tendency to whisk her away from her duties to go on childish trips.Rosabel Lucubratio
The heiress to the throne, Rosabel is only a few months old but already shows promise for a bright mind. Julius has insisted on being her caretaker while his wife handles the Empire, not much is known of how he acts when they're alone but he has spent and entire weekends with her at places one wouldn't normally travel to.Aga Null
As the eldest Paragon, Age has a mother-daughter bond with Crescentia, this causes her to visit the Empire often to check up on her and the baby. The relationship between Aga and Julius is much like one between a son and mother-in-law; awkward, formal, and short. Neither has anything bad to say about the other, which is better than onlookers expected.Cantionis Gladius
The youngest Paragon is recorded history, Cantionis and Crescentia are like sisters since they're so close in age; this means she also visits the Empire often to see the Empress and Heiress. However, Cantionis and Julius butt heads constantly, as Cantionis is also the godmother of Rosabel, Julius does not like it when she takes her away. Their rivalry spans over to the Empress herself, his position on the throne, and her position as Paragon; but the public at large are clueless to this as when they're in public the pair act friendly.

Honorary & Occupational Titles
As the only legitimate child of the former king of Delacroix, Julius automatically inherited the throne when his father passed away, at the age of 17. Not one to allow any negative talk of his older brother, he made Varius the sole heir to the throne, should something happen to him. Since the brothers were close they often planned great schemes together, one such involved the new Empress of Lucubratio.
From his coronation on, Julius sought to charm the Empress, hoping to get her hand in marriage and leave the throne to Delacroix open for his brother while he moved on to Lucubratio. This play took years of dedicated work to achieve, but soon Julius was an Emperor and no longer a king.
