Raviwrar
(a.k.a. The Black Curropter)
The Black Greatwyrm. Originally waking in the Rebel Age in Ered Mithrin. Raviwrar sided with the Phervians in the slave rebellion fighting many battles around the mountain range and the north of the shadow planes. As the Shadow Republic finally became a credible threat the high elder brain granted him sovereignty of the shadow planes and instructed him to gather an army of Kobolds and launch a counter-invasion. Meeting Wralin at a small area called Shadowbrook he engaged in dragon form. After taking a massive spell to his left side severely damaging his wing and side Raviwrar flew south before crashing into the ground out of sight. This caused his army to route with a small group of Kobolds breaking past the republic forces and vanishing into the plains. This was the last time the black corrupter was seen through many blamed him for the forming of the Mire of lost souls and believe he is still in the Mire. A fact confirmed in the Chroma Age.
In 122 Fey he was corrupted by a tainted Divine Elixir. Leading a purge on the living that ended at the Battle of Voidcape where he was killed by Zezhuanth, proving the greatwyrms were in fact mortal.
Mortal form
He is the only great wyrm not to show any ability to shapeshift.Corrosion bomb
It burns, it burns
Water only makes it worse
I want to die, kill me-cries of soldiers at the battle of Shadowbrook after being hit. Raviwrar lacked the breath weapon of other dragons at first, instead hurling mucus out of his mouth at the enemy. This mucus would corrode metal, and burn leather and skin leaving hideous scarring, on those not melted, survivors also seem to suffer excruciating pain. It was found that this was due to the high acidity of the mucus. He seemed to lose this after his corruption during the fey age.
