Appointment
The leadership of the Kobolds is believed to be held by the one who is the most useful. Must have been a member of one of the Guilds. It is required that the Kobold is able to produce valuable goods, generate magic or is a highly skilled worker. The Advisors decide who becomes the next leader of the Kobolds. They are not allowed to choose from their own ranks. They must select a Kobold who is willing to perform the job, who is an adult and that has proven themselves to be useful to the village.
Responsibilities
They are responsible for making the major decisions for the village. They get the benefit of the wisdom of those within the ranks of the advisor role who have various jobs within the village and who serve as a source of knowledge whenever needed.
Benefits
They get three shares of the village wealth when ever goods are being divided through out the village.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Those within the Advisor position can challenge the leadership of the Chieftain, but they are required to prove to the adults of the village that the Chieftain has not been working in their best interest. The adults of the village then decide if the Chieftain is worthy to continue their leadership. If it is decided that they are not, they are killed.
