Telvar

The dwarves of the southern continents once served the Evil dragons in the Third Age and were punished for it, but still maintain a scattered empire that forms the bridge between Ornassus and Zafara. They are known for shaping their beards and hair with metal helmets, bands, and adornments in highly geometric shapes. They were one of the only powers who were able to keep the demons of the Fourth World at bay, though they paid a terrible cost for it, and many Ornassi and Zafaran cultures are influenced by their ancient empire that spanned almost the entire southern half of Uskara. They spurn the gods and instead worship their own dead kings and rulers in an ancestor cult that has driven many to necromancy, and they share the tradition of Deathspeakers with the Noddite people they once ruled.
