Psychological Profile

Love makes people do strange things. In 2377 while she was a cadet at Starfleet Academy, Ens. Potts took a vacation on Epsilon Eridani Prime and visited Bomberton's holofacility. Bomberton apparently fell head-over-heels in love with Potts but did not reach out to get her contact information before she departed the planet. He then spent the next year tracking her down and when he found out she was going to be on a deep space exploration he did everything he could in order to get onboard the ship.
Since joining the ship he now seems to realize how foolish of a decision he has made and is struggling to come to terms with his new life. He has yet to approach Potts and now seems intimidated after finding out she is a security officer with a rather brutal reputation. While he figures out his next move his work has been within acceptable standards but it is advised that supervisors monitor the situation so that Bomberton's juvenile crush doesn't negatively impact crew morale or the ship's performance.

Biographical Overview

Bomberton was born on Epsilon Eridani Prime, a popular vacation planet reknowned for their massive holodeck installations. Bomberton did reasonably well in school but seemed to be focused on graduating, working at a holo facility and enjoying the constant stream of tourists landing and leaving the planet looking for a good time. In 2378 he quit his job and enlisted within Starfleet, insisting that he get assigned to the USS Orpheus. While Starfleet does its best to accomodate posting requests this targeted of a request was reviewed but ultimately he had the skills needed and the Orpheus had an opening so he was assigned as part of its deep space exploration.
