Djomaril
Djomaril is the homeworld of the Djomar.
Throughout the sector it is considered a place of serenity and beauty. Its ring system is made up of very fine metallic dust causing the rings to sparkle and shimmer as it catches the light earning the planet the nickname "Starlight" and being the inspiration for the Starlight Alliance.
Djomaril has a highly unusual ecology where carnivorous species never gained a strong foothold in the planet's ecosystem. The mild weather and abundant plantlife meant that apart from smaller scavengers and omnivores, herbivores dominated the landscape creating an idyllic and serene balance of nature. Outside of the elegant and grand cities of the Djomar, the wilderness is peaceful and pristine as the Djomar did not prioritize resource extraction at the expense of their environment.
