Public Agenda

We acknowledge the darkness that exists in this world in defiance of the Raven Redeemer. We pledge to usurp this darkness and seek it until destroyed. We acknowledge our work is never done and we accept whatever fate may come from our duty to our fellows and each other. Stay in the light.

Assets

Finances

Grand Marshal Mäél has acquired several thousand platinum and more valuables since the groups inception. As of now, they exist in a vault in a secure pocket dimension only he has access to. In the event of his death, the power to access and knowledge will fall to his second, Sweetie. The exact numbers are known to those who need to know.

Land & Housing

Their headquarters, The Lodge, is on a remote mountain in the Weirlands. It can be accessed by magical means such as teleportation as well as natural means via a steep slope. The Lodge is considered outside any jurisdiction thanks for surreptitious means provided by the founder Felix Jazkeh and Mäél. Jazkeh is buried on the property in an underground grave. This will be the burial place for all Hunters.

History

From humility to respect

In the beginning there was just Mäél and Felix. They found each other in the wild rooting out some malicious shapechanger. Their partnership was tenuous at first, Mäél being more dogmatic and harsh in all dealings while Felix had more spiritual qualities to him. The worked through a few botched attempts to save a family from their shapechanging mother. It was this that solidified them as a partners.   From there, they carried on their work going from Reryit to Rerya itself, deeper and deeper into the untamed land. They accepted help and rewards from Elves who fought against a supposed legion night after night. It was this stint in Rerya where they solidified their technique.   Moving south to Lochish, the Half-elves were at first turned off to their killing, seeing the goodness and humanity in everything even if it were warped in malcontent. It took a whole clan being slaughtered on their most holy night for them to reconsider. This one took longer, and tested both them and their technique. In the end, Mäél and Felix killed the horrendous thing, something from deep in Rerya, further than either dared to venture. It was here they solidified their name, given by a clan nestled in the Marwall.   On their way back through Rerya, they picked up a Gnome girl who had such tenacity after seeing her family slaughtered by one of these things, called a "skinwalker", they began training her. She grew up quickly in their training and acquired a ferocity unlike either had. A true, righteous bloodlust came over her when the monstrosities were near and they would let her use it on the quarry. It was in the Gnomish Hills of Rerya they solidified their hierarchy.   Lastly, sadly, the toll of death's bell sounded for Felix one night. Being offshoot disciples of the Raven Redeemer, they dutifully held a ceremony for Felix and did all to hasten his soul to her. At the last he had a vision of pale and grotesque things limping from steamy forests and enveloping the world. He made Mäél and Sweetie swear to him to continue their work and to expand their ranks. It was here they solidified their destiny.
