Arcturus, Custodian of Dawn
Bringer of the Morn
Arcturus is a child of Los, Goddess of the Sun, tasked with the maintainence of the day and night cycle with his sister Io. When the siblings were given this task, they took a piece of their home Arcadia with them to the plane of Mechanus, as the realms predeliction for order would faciliate their eternal labor.
He is specifically responsible the for the cycling of sun; Los embodies the power of the Sun and it's light, while Arcturus controls its relationship to the various planes. He finds solace in working so closely with his mother's power, and takes the task of caring for and moving that power very seriously.
He has some resentment towards Uurphasia for the schism and the planar separations it caused, but still carries on his duties diligently, with his more negative feelings tempered by his sister.
