Bom Timble
Bom is an elderly Tortle living in Pioneer's Stride with his Tiefling daughter Gerb Timble. He currently manages Rockroot Farm, which he took over from from the previous owners in the year 433 P.S.E.
In his youth, he was raised as a farmer living up in Gladesweth. Wanderlust soon took over him as he ventured out to find his own path in the world. He journeyed through Heliofane before ending up in Myreglyne, taken aback by the beauty of the region. It was here that he met the demon Vahlia, on the run from her own troubles unbeknownst to him. He was immediately smitted, as was Vahlia, and they began a courtship that lasted a few years.
Over time they discussed getting a farm together, and soon after they had a baby, Gerb. As baby Gerb slowly grew up, Bom and Vahlia made plans to move to Yenithmyr, away from prying and judgemental eyes. Once they found the ideal spot in Pioneer's Stride, a farm in need of new management, they began to make plans to move. However before their plans could be realised, when Gerb was only 2, Vahlia was forced to leave very suddenly for reasons unknown to Bom. She was able to say goodbye and swore him to secrecy about her identity, for his sakes and for Gerb's. He relunctently obliged and commited to raising Gerb on his own. Bom made the journey to Pioneer's Stride with Gerb, and was luckily able to take over the farm from the previous owners, utilising his prior farming knowledge. He became somewhat more curmudgeonly over the years as he got older, but still retained love for Gerb and contentment for his station.
