Marshal

The Marshal can be employed in a number of ways to the benefit of his employer. Deployed in friendly territory, a Marshal can train local militias and promote martial readiness, thereby increasing the availability of levies for the realm. Deployed to other territories, the Marshal can foment insurrection and utilize mercenaries, bandits, or local dissidents to disrupt supply lines, trade routes, etc. When attached to a military force, the Marshal will improve training and discipline, making his charges more effective on the battlefield.
