Silveraxe's Oubliette
Silveraxe's Oubliette is the prison used for citizens of Varendicci. It is known for a mass escape in the past when it was used for non-citizens, and consists of only a few rooms. It is rumoured that hidden inside the dungeon is a secret tunnel to the outside. The cells inside the dungeon are aging, but sturdy; the walls have some cracks, and prisoners are kept in a large chamber with many other prisoners. The name is somewhat ironic, as citizens are not put in there to be forgotten, but rather for minor offenses which are considered forgotten upon their release. For major crimes, a citizen is expelled from the city, thus a larger, more secure jail is not required for the citizenry.
